Long-time Customer Harney Joins VR Team

VR Systems is pleased to announce the hiring of Lori Harney as regional sales manager focused on our Florida market.
Harney brings years of election experience as well as a vast knowledge of the elections process and VR products.
Before joining VR, Harney served as IT director of the Charlotte County Supervisor of Elections Office for 14 years. She provided technical support in all aspects of the election and voter registration process and coordinated with third-party vendors on software and hardware troubleshooting, upgrades and enhancements.
While serving in her former role, Harney gained experience utilizing all of VR’s products. She was one of the very first users of the EViD electronic pollbook, as EViD was developed in response to the devastation caused by Hurricane Charley in 2004. In Charlotte County the majority of precincts were destroyed just weeks before an election.
Harney will play an integral role in providing our customers with quality elections products and solutions along with the exemplary customer support for which VR is known.
